Program Description
The Certificate in Finance is designed to provide a credential in finance for non-finance majors who want an endorsement of their knowledge in finance. To obtain a Certificate in Finance, students must complete 12 hours in finance as outlined below:
Required Courses:
- FIN 305 Managerial Finance ( ACCT 203 is a pre-requisite for this class)
- FIN 641 Financial Markets and Institutions
- Plus these two elective classes:
- FIN 391 Principles of Insurance
- FIN 645 International Finance
