International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA) was established on January 12, 1984 as a non-profit professional accounting association in London, UK. It was formally registered in Amman on February 24, 1994 under the name “The Arab Society of Certified Accountants”. 


Objectives
To advance the professions of accountancy, auditing and other related fields.
To protect and maintain professional independence of accountants, and implement professional supervision standards as a means of advancing the professions of accounting and auditing.
To develop and facilitate the circulation and exchange of academic and professional knowledge among accountants and related professionals by organizing conferences, meetings, seminars, training courses and academic gatherings in addition to encouraging scientific and professional research.

IASCA Services and Activities

Firstly: Professional  Publications
IASCA was officially mandated by IASB, IFAC and Wiley company to prepare IASs, IFRSs, International Standards on Auditing, Assurance and Professional Code of Ethics and IPSAS.

ACPA – Arab Certified Public Accountant
ACMA- Arab Certified Management Accountant

Thirdly: Training and qualification

Training Courses: Courses that aim at promoting the professional competence of staff and developing their capabilities in various accounting fields.
Professional Qualifications (ACPA, JCPA and CIMA): thorough developing many professional qualification programs related to accounting, auditing and administrative and financial issues, with a view to providing the market with qualified professionals to work in these fields.
Contractual Courses: Applications received from public and private institutions, banks and companies regarding the design and implementation of accounting training courses.
